SmithPro Enterprises Inc. is a family-owned firm serving Simcoe County and the Greater Toronto Area, working in two areas: construction project management, and business consulting and investment.

Operator led, not desk led
The honest question anyone has before hiring a construction manager is whether they can trust this person with their money and their site. So here is the answer in plain terms.
SmithPro is family owned and deliberately small. There is no account manager layer and no bench of juniors — you get one named manager on your project and an owner who answers the phone. Everyone here has been on the tools, in the trailer, and across the table from the trades. We test methods on our own projects before we put a system around them, which is why our process is short and our reporting is not decorative.
We also run and invest in businesses of our own. That is not a side note: it is why we think in terms of cost of delay, cashflow and opportunity cost rather than just square footage.
What we are trying to do
Take the parts of a project that keep an owner awake — the budget, the schedule and the finger-pointing — and make them somebody else’s job. Ours.
How we decide what to take on
We only take work where we can genuinely move the outcome. If a project needs a specialist we are not, we will tell you in the first conversation rather than learn it at your expense. Turning work down is the cheapest form of quality control there is.
